Meet the Doctors
Dr. Ralph J. Gebert, O.D.
Dr. Gebert began his career in 1978 after graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry. His one-man operation slowly grew into a dedicated staff and is now serving two locations in Barrington and Lake Zurich, IL. Dr. Gebert is the owner and currently serving as the President of The Eye Works, Ltd.
He enjoys playing golf and handball, and loves to spend time with his family when he's not working.

Elayne
Elayne, Dr. Gebert's wife, is The Eye Works' very first optician. Her outgoing personality helps our patients have a great experience when here.
Diane
Diane joined our practice in 2016 and has 25 years of experience in the optical field. She loves to help people look and see their best with their eyewear and contact lenses. She is patient and considerate and has a wonderful rapport with all the patients.
Denise
Denise joined The Eye Works team in 2004. With 15 years of optical experience, as well as being ABO certified, she is passionate about helping patients choose the perfect eyewear. She specializes in excellent customer service by assisting each patient in understanding their insurance coverage.
